Would you ever in a million years go on a blind date?

If I were as unattractive/desperate/emotionally disturbed as most of the people on this site, yes, because it'd be my only option. Reminds me of how so many [get played by] the lottery rather than working toward their own success.

I'm thinking about using that feature this week. Anyone have any stories from using it?

It's so easy to see who the person is, if you have any familiarity with your locals on OKCupid. I messaged a couple, as a courtesy letting them know I can tell who they are, but they didn't reply back. Maybe they should call it Crazy One-way Mirror Date.

Maybe they should call it Crazy One-way Mirror Date.

I think OkCupid could market that.

As someone without a smartphone, I feel discriminated against by the feature.

CBD seems to have disappeared from my sidebar; have they just moved it, or quietly done away with it? The latter seems more sensible...

The funniest thing is, it isn't blind at all. As Norbu2006 noted, you can tell who the users are if you're familiar with the locals. There were two fellows who I'd sent messages to who hadn't replied, who then showed up in crazy blind date.

Blind dates are a good date or a hilarious story for the guys later, there is no down side.
