| | MsOtis Dec 3, 2012 Oh, I thought this thread was going to be about climbing the Himalayans. OP, i've heard a lot of tales like this - the very, very long first date followed by silence. I think spending too much time together on a first date might be not such a great idea. It can be a wild ride followed immediately be a crash and burn. Take things a little more slowly. Build up to the longer dates. Has to do something with letting our bodies become familiar with the other, which takes a little longer than our minds, apparently.

Men are expected to be direct, women are expected to be subtle (Dare I say, indirect).
I'm not saying one is inherently better, or that all people have universal expectations of the same or opposite sex, but it's a trend I've noticed.
