Help, I can't get my new Alienware 1337 to turn on. I've tried everything, from resoldering the motherboard to dropping the monitor on its side (lightly). I have to post from my mobile phone, and that requires an additional step to get to the forums. HELP!

You need to list your system specs and age before I can describe a course to fixing and resolving the issue.

It's a brand new Alienware 1337. That's what the guy who sold it to me said anyway.

Well that's your problem right there. Never trust an alien.

Smoke a fatty with your lap top, message gently all in the right locales.  Dispense warm oils liberally ; you'll turn him on.

I tried the oils trick, it didn't work.

What does "plugged in" mean? I read Timothy Leary so yes i think so.

Still I see no specs of your fictitious machine.

I paid attention to the 1337 way before, it's why I asked for specs. If you've got a real problem, you should consider consulting the person who sold you it. Their machines are Dell crap, best experience is 400$ thrown at anything with an AMD APU. It's not high end graphics, but you usually are able to turn 90% of the games you want. However if you're loose with your budget an i7 is always better, but personally I'd never invest more than 400-600 in a laptop.
