Incidentally, it is not a sausage fest, but it is harder for me to recruit girls. I email random ladies whose profile I find cool, but guys can also email me suggestions or invite girls, but you need to run it by me first so we can have a balance of genders (and also because space is limited). Hey Cupidistas!
For over a year, every other Friday or Saturday, I've been hosting "OKC Game Night at SDFrenchie's", which is basically a casual get-together/potluck/BYOBooze for local OKC users trying to make some new friends--and occasionally find a significant other... it has happened. We play Cranium and other such fun games while sipping sangria or wine (or soda... not everyone drinks) and getting to know new, fun people ready to embarrass themselves in front of others.
We've had a good little group, but as many moved away over the past few months, and also because some coupled up and have been staying away from us singles as a result, we need to bring in some new faces of either gender. Come on, we want new friends!! :) So who's moved here recently and wants to meet cool new peeps?
We're all very easy going people, ranging in age from late 20s to mid-30s. Honestly we may not be everyone's type of crowd, so be aware that the humor can be quite raunchy or completely juvenile, the conversations...truly interesting--open-mindedness a must! But we are very welcoming as long as you have a good attitude and come ready to make an ass of yourself (we constantly do).
