I do not understand why there is such disdain for commitment in relationships among so many liberals. They often shun monogamy and based on the comments I've seen ITF, do not take relationships all that srsly. I mean I've heard Sushi and pals describe divorce as being not all that worse than the breakup of a non-marital LTR and then there's Cheyenne who thinks jealousy, even in small amounts, is a terrible thing and you should blindly trust your partner.

And furthermore, popsych has embraced this with all this nonsense about "codependency" as a clinical term for loyal, unconditional love between 2 people. WTF! Adaptability is not infinite, not even for the most resourceful of people.

I'm a liberal and I know quite a few people who should be committed.

Oh noes! People want to actually enjoy their lives! The Catholic Church and Republican Party can't have that.

Enjoying your life for some of us means having a loyal, faithful partner. You see, not everyone is fickle, capricious, and mercurial like you kid.

Enjoying your life for some of us means having a loyal, faithful partner.

And for many others, it means exploring different things.

What's the problem here?

You see, not everyone is fickle, capricious, and mercurial like you kid.

Oh, I see. The problem is nobody wanting to commit to you after you insult them three posts in.

OP kisses women in the street who are 1) married, 2) have a boyfriend, 3) flighty.

So much for "loyal, committed, partner."

Unless, of course, by "committed" you mean psych-ward.

lol @ OP pretending he's not a lib.

As far as psych wards, ALL women should be in them.

Libs are totally committed to derailing anything that you like, Mayo.

Tell us more what you like, Mayo.

I'll send it thru to National Headquarters of the Libbies, and they'll get right on the reverse pschology media campaign.

I did not kiss her. And furthermore, I have made no attempts to contact her(twas a week ago)and have no intention of ever doing so in the future. Nice try, though.

I'd ask you to find me an 18 yo in the streets who wants to date me, but as I ahve proven, WA people are weirdos.

^^ I suppose she twanged her own bootie thong, then?

And when you found out she was married, you rebuffed her kisses?

Nice try, hypocrite.

If I were actually pursuing this woman, then that would be hypocritical. But the funny thing is, she came up to me I did N0T approach her! As I said, she kissed me once on the cheek but no french kissing. Give it up.

Um, the one where you couldn't keep your hands to yourself?

Where you didn't pursue her 'cause she told you flat out you weren't getting any?

The one you wrote a big ole tl/dr here in the forum, asking our opinion about what to do next?

lol, Mr. Hypocrite.

Its funny how people that prefer one type of relationship over another sometimes feel the need to bash other types of relationships. They try to change the minds of others but it usually just looks like they are trying to convince themselves that they prefer the "right" kind of relationship.

There is no right not wrong relationship in a global sense, only one that is right for you personally.

Nobody really bashed your relationship. Swampy and I do laugh a bit at it being with a blowup doll, but that's not necessarily bashing.

What else do you and swampy do together?

Indeed. Many liberals who disdain commitment ridicule those who value it and use psychobabble to suggest that there is something wrong wanting an enduring relationship(what they refer to as "codependency").

What else do you and swampy do together?

The birds and the bees. Swampy is obviously the man on top.
