Read a book about me. ;) Seriously, have you tried reading short-story collections? Smaller bites may help. I am curious as to what the themes of your "uncontrollable" daydreams might be. Sounds hot. :) |

Okay, I have this issue where I get huge urges to read a book because I haven't in so long, but when I start them, my mind is so distracted it keeps running off in a daydream that I can't control. I try really hard to pay more attention to the book - the book can even be very interesting, but not interesting enough to distract my attention away from the pointless, non-realistic daydream.
I've tried listening to books on tape as well, but I still move off into a daydream.
Any ideas on how to help keep attention on the book? Or any other outside info on why that may be happening?
