I'm just curious.

Do I have to create a separate account and search for myself, or what?

Or just tell me.

Log out and visit your page. Or just ask someone.

Are you wondering how likely it is that you will respond to a message?

Tried that. It doesn't show reply rate.

Are you wondering how likely it is that you will respond to a message?

I'm wondering what OkC considers often, selective and very selective. Like I said, just curious.

What does it show?

On my profile, the "message" button doesn't have the colored circle.

On a search, the footer that normally has the reply rate is not there.

You can just tell me, you know.

It used to be, if you just did a search for your username, it would show in the results. But I guess not anymore...

OP, when you don't get messages, why would you think that your reply rate would be more than zero?

Does it matter?

All men will re-set to the green button (Replies Often) eventually. Unless you are George Clooney.

Or Chris Coyne.

Or one of the other staff around here.

Then it's a red button (Replies Very Selectively) all year round.

thanx  Justin - someone sent me a message saying I hardly ever reply - I'm glad to know that's not true.

What does mine show?

Also, I would love to see some mathematical breakdown of how they determine it. Maybe an OKC Trends post on how your message rate from others changes when your color changes?
