I liked D&D when I was like eleven. If you still play D&D past the age of 15 you are a hopeless choad, that must now kill themselves with a +5 sword. ManLaw #154.......

I gotta agree with Gitmo here.

There are far better RPGs out there. :D

Roles are for the stage, not the dining room table.

All the world's a stage - even the table.

Ah yes- we must all play our parts. Even the NPCs.

D&D is a cool game for kids, which helps them expand their imagination. In the case of adults that play, it serves as a clear indicator of social retardation, immaturity and sexual dysfunction. True story...

I like playin' with kids.

How can you claim that a game encouraging social interaction is filled with people who are socially retarded? Immaturity? Sexual dysfunction? Ugh, that would be you my nut loving friend.

Actually, the gamers don't really engage in social interaction unless they have the game to talk about. And outside the game, the die-hards readily assume whatever level of Druid halfling magic-using fighter they play, The die-hards.

Seldom seen it. Indeed, the most die-hard RPGers I'm used to
can't even manage to assume the role WHEN playing.

I've always preferred players who are new to the genre - they
generally catch the spirit more easily.

Ah well- I've had another example of why most male gamers are to be avoided tonight.

"Um, hey, I know that person and I was there when it happened and I don't think you had anything to do with her divorce like you said at all."

Adults play that game (D&D) because they have no game. Nuff' said....
