Hi,

A friend of mine decided to delete all her match questions and start all over. When she did that her match percentages turned to 0%. We thought it was supposed to be like that, for a while, to prevent people from abusing that feature, but it's now been 2 weeks, and all her percentages (as well as her matches) are still at 0%.

Can anyone please clarify. Is this supposed to happen? For how long?

Thanks.

Are you saying that she's reanswered questions and the percentage is still at zero percent? Because obviously deleting match questions sends all percentages back to zero since that's what determines those percentages, and of course it follows that not reanswering any questions means it will remain that way.

Yep, she immediately started the process of reanswering everything. She now has a total of 942 questions answered. All percentages still at 0% though, and a couple of weeks have passed. If that's not the way the systems works, I'm guessing something went terribly wrong.

Well it can take a while for the system to 'ingest' a bunch of newly-answered match questions, this is a known issue.

I usually tell people it can take up to two weeks, but I don't have up-to-date parameters on that.

You may want to use the contact link at the bottom of the page to ask the staff whether that's a glitch or not. Personally I would give it a few more days before I assume it's all just horribly broken, but can't hurt to send a query anyway.

Actually she did contact the staff, using the contact link, just a couple of days after noticing the percentages were not being restored/updated. The thing is, about ten days have gone by and there's still no reply.

But yeah, that's what I've been telling her. Give it a few more days and either the problem will sort itself or she'll get a reply. Whichever comes first.
