Some people are doing this and I can't figure out how.  I know you used to embed "target=_blank" in the anchor tag, but now that we aren't typing the anchor tag out courtesy of the happy linky button in the forum post editor, how are folks pulling this off?

Oh duh I took a closer look at the happy linky boxy thing and I think I found it.  D'oh!

  1. Create the text in the body of your post that you want to end up as the "link title"
  2. Highlight that text, then click the "chainlink" icon.* (It will only be clickable when some text is highlighted in the post body)
  3. Type or paste the desired URL in the top box
  4. Select "open in new window" or "open in same window" from the dropdown selector in the middle box. (I haven't found a use for the bottom box yet)
  5. Click "Insert"

*(The "broken chainlink" icon works just like the "chainlink" icon - it just "breaks" the link, ie turns it back into regular text)

Howdy sfguyyy.  Yeah, I found that.  I hadn't looked at the link dialog box dropdown since its original implementation, when the selections said something distinctly different (though I don't remember what).  At any rate, it does exactly what it now says, issue resolved.
