| | Side--Effect Jan 25 I suggest you read the Constitution. Pay attention to the enforcement clause. Start at the beginning and keep reading until you find one. Then see if you can fathom the impeachment clause where it says "high crimes and misdemeanors". The Constitution is a framework upon which criminal laws should be written and a guide for interpretation. It is not a law. There may be a criminal law (high crime or misdemeanor) that says that violating an oath is illegal, but I doubt it. It may be a form of perjury, but that's a pretty remote possibility. |

Even as a professor of law, and after swearing to uphold the Constitution, he has been found to have ignored and failed to uphold the Constitution. That is grounds for impeachment. He knew very well what he was doing.
