--- Read Atlas Shrugged and want to discuss, (since no one I know but my brother and mom have read it)

you know who Ayn Rand is/you have read The Fountainhead/Atlas Shrugged, or you have read my profile and you still feel like it.

I love the book Atlas Shrugged . Also Fellini's film Atlas Shrugged . And Rilo Kiley's album "Atlas Shrugged" has been a big inspiration.

I did not appreciate the mile-long speeches in Atlas Shrugged, but it was still a tolerable read. Like in musicals characters break into spontaneous songs, in Atlas Shrugged they break into spontaneous speeches, you just learn to live with that.

What books are your dealbreakers?

Comment by bornyesterday

i'm more bothered by the idea that any book other than fountainhead or atlas shrugged is a deal breaker than that you're a rand fan. personally, i enjoyed fountainhead. atlas shrugged, not so much
