I just finished a two day road trip to LA, where we ate at Tommy's, Pink's, Canter's, Langer's, and Roscoe's. My body was damaged by that in ways that alcohol has never done, and I'm vegan for a couple days, but the pastrami at Canter's was worth it.
A few favorite places are The Veggie Grill, The Gypsy Den, Dusty's, Canter's, The Kitchen.
(D) cookies, bleu cheese, ranch dressing, chile verde, homemade flour tortillas, pad thai, gnocchi, pastrami from canter's, french dips from phillipe's, dodger dogs, dim sum, m&m's, ben and jerry's peanut butter cup ice cream, etc.

Lined with Hassidic Jews and other assorted Rabbi Looking
motherfuckers. Eye was not offended. Canter's is seat yourseLf, so
we did.
Cafe Largo
musician friends lived right round the corner, just
shy of Fairfax and Beverly, where there is no parking and cool old
Hollywood buildings and Canter's Deli and we'd walk. To Largo. Or
that little dive bar which i can't remember the name of or Canter's
and then the dive bar and THEN Largo.

Obama and Labor Unions Beat Corporate America
No one is
gonna boycott a local Deli (for example Canter's in Los Angeles) if
they refuse to unionize, but it would be easier to get a boycott of
Jerry's Deli if they refused to unionize, because the average
person tends to few chains as evil, and mom & pop biz as good.
