I'm all for remaking citizen Kane, throwing in some
actions scenes maybe... or, well, anything that isn't insipidly
boring. ;)See? :) Now that's about as anti-purist as you can get,
but seriously, I couldn't even finish watching Citizen Kane.

Rant: Overrated "deep" movies
Throughout my
college years, I had to watch Citizen Kane and analyze it to death
quite a bit, since it was "ahead of its time" with certain
cinematography techniques, like "deep focus." Not saying that it
wasn't beneficial in terms of cinema but it's not an easy movie to
