Like bow hunting skills. I have a compound bow and am currently learning to shoot and be awesome with it.

Love, its what makes the world go round, my PSE Mach-Elite II compound bow, Terminator Carbon Arrows, Nap Spit-Fire Broadheads, Tru-Ball releases, Browning quivers, Limb Savers anti-vibration inserts, (yeah, I'm really into bow hunting) Budweiser Select, my BlackBerry, my Ford Ranger, and my dog.

Coupla years ago I was given an old compound bow. As a consequence I discovered I love archery ; from the first pull it felt like slipping into a familiar and stimulating groove. I'm a decent shot with a bow, gun, or camera, but I don't know how to throw darts or shoot pool worth a crap.

How are you with a bow?  I personally us a bow whenever I go below the knife and spear.   I made my own (several actually): a compound osage orange wood, buffalo horn, elk sinew compound in the traditional Turkish bow design.

Were the Japanese bows comparable to the Asiatic compound bows? If I were a mounted warrior, I'd always be worried about getting plugged by a compound bow/long bow/crossbow since a guy on a horse is a big fucking target.

What would be your weapon of choice to murder to the poster above you?

Bow and arrow - and I'm not talking a simple recurve and wooden arrow Rambo style. I want a dual cam, overdrawn compound firing a carbon arrow with titanium broadhead. I hold a life long aspiration to be a bow sniper.

I wanna get a good collapsible compound bow - the one's I've had (oneida) have all been a pain to carry through the bush being 4 feet long almost.
