now, in my case, I am apparently an ESTJ, which I
suspect falls slightly outside the usual stereotypes. but,
apparently, us (ESTJ's and ISTJ's) are fairly common as programmers
(ISTJ, ESTJ, and INTP being the top 3 types according to some
studies.
