guess what I meant was that graphic novels
generally tend to have a complete narrative, whilst comic books
rely on the next issue, so whilst graphic novels can be serialised,
they're in the sense that the works can also be viewed as stand
alone pieces. Graphic novels are also more ~mature~ or
NERDS!!
My hope is that it makes
more people read the book and realize that comics and graphic
novels are just mediums, like film, tv and novels. If people can
start to see graphic novels as an art form (and Watchmen's a great
place to start), I'll be very excited.
