Now, I am shocked and even a little disappointed that no one mentioned Harold and Maude! Talk about your tear jerkers. Near the end, Harold professes his love to Maude, and she responds with one of the most beautiful lines in the history of cinema.

Harold & Maude is that a kid keeps faking suicide to piss off his mom, who eventually gets used to it. He really just wants to die, but Maude is an old woman (50-80) who is near death and appreciates life to the fullest. She eventually makes him stop wanting to die.So... this guy is the Maude
