I'm also a tree-hugging hippie at heart. I like anything to do with water mostly, and specifically the ocean . Swimming , scuba diving , sailing (though I've never been, I really want to learn), building autonomous boats and underwater vehicles for scientific research, etc. Land stuff is fun too:

Horror movies?
cup of tea, you have the start of the
torture/sadistic slant to them, as well as the very annoying (IMHO)
infectious zombie (Night of the Living Dead et all) or with weird
hippie stuff added (The Dunwich Horror and the otherwise excellent
The Exorcist). But even then, there's some interesting stuff.
