I'm a horror fanatic. I love horror in all media and
genres, especially psychological horror and supernatural horror . I
even love a nice, cheesy pulp horror now and then. In fact, the
only "horror" stories I can't stand are torture/shock and mindless
slash. The best horror isn't ... studying Japanese ),
obnoxious, and often bellowing in Japanese . I love
pink things and cute things. I love cats , kittens , and other cute
animals like otters and rabbits . I love horror movies , especially
Asian horror , and survival horror video games . I'm always
listening to jpop , j-pop , Japanese music .

The third was a a real
pile of steaming shit from a Japanese director. Why oh WHY do the
Japanese feel the overwhelming urge to make their horror movies
seem more like an acid trip than a real movie? Why is it that Pink
Floyd's "The Wall" makes more sense than lame ass Japanese horror?

Being a fan of Japanese horror films, I know what was
going to happen next, so I was desperately trying to wake myself
up.

At this point today I feel like I'm in the first 20 minutes of a

Americans weren’t the only ones who feared Japanese savagery,
either. China suffered losses of fifteen million civilians at

I used to be REALLY into Japanese
horror. The Ringu books are SO much better than the films, though.
They actually make sense. :x A couple other good Japanese horror
films are Uzumaki (fun to watch, but the comics are way better),
Marrionerre (I think that's the title.

zeitgeist of
post-War Japan, and especially about the horror with which the
mainstream Japanese culture reacted upon hearing of how their
servicemen were behaving abroad. It would be an understatement to
say that they were disappointed. Japanese soldiers returned to
Japan post-War to find themselves

Yeah, I'm with Chibiusa on the Korean Horror front. It's becoming a
real hotbed for very creative cinema as a whole, but their take on
the typical horror movie has started to change the genre. ... For more "traditional" Japanese fare, you
should check out the films that America decided to

My favorite horror film is Romero's Dawn of the
Dead, followed by the original Night of the Living Dead, the
original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the original Japanese Ring,
Alien, the original Hills Have Eyes, Eyes of Fire, Phantasm, The
Evil Dead, Psycho, Peeping Tom, Suspiria, Who Can Kill A Child?

Dead / Alive is outrageous horror - but maybe too funny/
goofy for some. The original Ringu (Japanese) was pretty damn
good. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacres scared the crap out of
me.Rosemary's Baby is pretty freakin' scary. Polanski knows
horror.
