Basically a
two-layer chocolate cake (dense, rather than fluffy) with an
apricot jam filling in between the layers, and an apricot glaze

No, I've never been an icecream pie/cake fan. Back in the day my
mother used to make an icecream cake with a layer of pudding and a
layer of whipped topping on top of the icecream that was pretty
good, but if I'm honest, I always thought it would be better
without the icecream at all.

One of my
favorite summer cakes is a layer cake. You use yellow cake mix and
use a larger, deep casserole dish to bake it. Afterwards, layer
vanilla pudding, sliced strawberries, and Cool-Whip from the cake
up. REFRIGERATE. It's a very cool and tasty cake to eat.

When I eat cake or pie, I have to eat it in a particular layer
order (layer cake = layer up, without eating the crust until the
end, pies = filling first, then crust) People seem to think this is
cute/weird.

i throw both cake pans in at the same time, let them cool for
like a half hour, take one out frost it, toss that back in for
another half hour so the frosting thickens then take the top layer
out of the pan, toss it on and frost it too...But you want the
frosting and top layer really cool so it
