I have a hobby: Medieval combat re-enactment . With real armor and all that jazz. We dress in armor and hit each other with rattan weapons (like wood) in an effort to recreate medieval combat as accurately as possible without actually killing or maiming each other.
I'm also into Medieval re-enactment so im doing the Heavy Weapons Combat (yes with armor and its good excercise).
singer , artist , graphic designer, medieval history buff/re-creationist/re-enactor, avid reader , runner ... the Society for Creative Anachronism ( SCA ), and I participate in Viking Age historical re-enactment , where my interests include costuming and crafts of the period and "live steel" combat.
We do medieval re-enactment mostly with the SCA and we've recently become interested in the survivalist movement, just to be on the safe side. ... If I'm cleaning the house then it's got to be Footloose, Mortal Combat, or something that helps keep me moving.
