Actually,
since it's November now and I'm participating in National Novel
Writing Month for the first time (Wherein crazy people all over the
world try to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days), so this month,
I should be writing.
Besides the reading and
writing I do for my job, I'm active in the children's lit blogger
community and I'm writing a terrible novel for National Novel
Writing Month .
I've been friends with Bill W

For a couple of years, I've been batting around the idea of doing
National Novel Writing Month. I hate the twee little nickname
(Nanowrimo), and I hate the group-therapy approach to writing...
but I love the challenge of writing 50,000 words in 30 days.

It's November again, which means two of my favorite things:
Thanksgiving and National Novel Writing Month!
by time_of_wonder
The only problem with Nano is that it's
in the same month as Ambercon NW. This means that I have an entire
weekend that I can't dedicate to writing. ... Wet
cold is bad for novels, but if it’s dry, it’s not that big of a
deal.

com/NaNoWriMo is National
Novel Writing Month, held every November. The idea is to just start
writing a novel, completing as much as possible. It can be any kind
of novel, but it can't be a work already in
progress.

national novel writing month. from nov 1 through the end of the
month, the goal is to write 50,000 words; or, a short novel.

It's short for National
Novel Writing Month, where you are challenged to write a novel in
30 days (the month of November).

Anyway, I've actually been
getting ready to start working on another book, and I've been
saving it for National Novel Writing Month, because no matter how
utterly stupidly lame I think the trappings of the contest are, the
content, the ideal, the goal, remains pure, to me.

Today was an exception given that
instead of our usual campaign game, we played a few one shot
stories and called it a night around 5, at which I tried to get
more quality time with the novel I am writing for national novel
writing month (every November).

(NaNoWriMo) talking about how, when he took six months off work to
try to write, he got very little done and just beat himself up all

It might make a good short story or Haiku, but a novel?I'll point
out that it's National Novel Writing Month, and there are 27 days
left to finish your entry.

National Novel Writing Month, where people challenge themselves to
write... 50,000 words in one month, I think.
