Lovecraft and Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake. If it's applicable fiction, then I'm all about it! To be honest I've read soooo many books in my short life that it's quite difficult to recount even the one's I've selected as my favorites. Oryx and Crake is amongst the top few though.
