I'm old school punk I guess. Waaaay old school. The New York Dolls were a big part of the punk scene, before it was even considered "punk." The word "punk" wasn't even being used yet in terms of music. You need to read a little book called Please Kill Me: The Uncensored Oral History of Punk.
