Career professional with a strong interest in the Renaissance and
non-tradtional community. Business Owner and I enjoy to travel the
Renaissance & Medieval Faire circuit in the Spring & Fall.
Probably my most favorite
recreational activity is doing Renaissance Faire's, I belong to a
guild and every couple of months I go of and act and play at the
faire for a weekend.
I am an avid renaissance
enthusiast. I work at the Texas Renaissance Festival during
October/ November, and love traveling to the other Faires in Texas.
I'm also looking forward (with proper planning) on traveling the
country to go to other faires.

Renaissance GothsRen faires are typically bright, happy affairs.
However, the Renaissance goths know that the Renaissance was only a
time of joy and prosperity for a privileged few.

:) It's a Lovecraftian, pirate, ninja, renaissance faire for
adults (meaning there are sexy and kinky things there, too). It's
Fri., Feb. 8th from 5:30pm-1am, and Sat., Feb. 9th from noon to
midnight. Check it out: Jeff Mach's Wicked Winter Renaissance Faire

of support and
love that really bonded me to the whole experience of the Faire.
Maybe someday... I'll become too old & broken to "work" at the
Faire and do the same things I do now - but I think I will always
look at the Faire as a place where I found friends, a family, and
the love and support

The organizer came up with this: "If you took
an event which changed rules of place and time like a Renaissance
Faire; had an insane amount of entertainment like a festival; was
social and full of rich interaction like a convention; and worked
its metaphorical ass off to give unusual people a place

to go work a season of Renaissance Faire. I
had worked it before and enjoyed it, but it got me away from all
the really familiar settings, out of the stressfull home, and into
a group of really kind, open, supportive people. Now I'd recommend
the SCA (www.sca.org) over Faire anyday, but back then, I

Ren Faire, then having a few photos in Ren gear isn't a
bad thing. But if you do Ren Faire for a few weeks a year,
but you also enjoy hiking or boating or water-skiiing or something,
it's a good thing to show off those other interests as well, and
not just focus photos on you in Ren Faire

I went to the Renaissance faire, the faire ended last month and is
a ten minute drive from my house. Even better, a friend pony’ed up
for the ticket saving me a small fortune at the gate, I saw the
merry wives of windsor and was impressed. I ended up buying special
wood free incense at the faire.

I work at a renaissance faire (pic of me in
garb on my profile) and go to faires often with my boyfriend. One
day we got home from the faire and I was still in my garb. I kept
up my olde english accent and talked as if I were Rose McGreedy, my
character at the faire.
