this line intrigues me: reading Sartre tends to turn the lone wolf into the alpha of a pack of one. I havent read any Sartre, but I do know that the ideas of lone, wolf, the alpha, and one occupy my contempaltive mind, and make me happy.

  I believe it was Jean-Paul Sartre who said that "Once you hear the details of victory, it is hard to distinguish it from a defeat.
