Damn You SciFi!
the SciFi Channel in '08... 1. They play
wrestling events. Regardless of how "out there" some of the plot
lines may be, when did wrastlin' become science fiction/fantasy?2.
They cancel shows such as Farscape, Stargate: Atlantis, and The
Dresden Files. They begin airing a ton of really shitty
scifi

The old scifi channel. ... absolutely nothing good
on the scifi channel regularly. Sure, maybe they might have a few
twilight zone episodes early in the morning...in the middle of the
week...but other than that, there's absolutely nothing redeeming
left of the SCIFI channel.

What I Did With My Summer Vacation
Sounds like a SciFi writer's dream job! Except I wouldn't want
to have to wade through all the BAD SciFi TV...Oh, and the fact
that I don't have a TV and cable kinda complicates things. Like
having to wade through all the bad SciFi novels.
I just got shot down because I play WoW
scifi/fantasy, I read scifi/fantasy, I play scifi/fantasy games, I
watch scifi/fantasy movies and tv shows, I run an online forum for
scif/fantasy fans. Is that all I do? No. I cook, I sew, I dance, I
ski, I swim. A full life needn't have a finite amount of
activities. Is it a crime to enjoy scifi

I mean c'mon, I dig the Scifi stuff as much as anyone, if you're a
geeky girl, why wouldn't you like ... prog rock sadly doesn't
seem to have quite same numbers in the female population as the
Scifi numbers from my perception. Prog Rock and women who are
single is even more rare than the Scifi-chic.

Star Wars is scifi. I would say most
scifi is just a normal story set in the future. The genre has been
going strong the 30's with pulp novels set in that format. And for
that matter, fantasy is pretty much the same as scifi except you
change lasers and space travel to swords and horses.

Icebreaker fail
Only my keyword was "scifi". Lately,
with a lot of messages between some of my friends and myself, Staff
Robot has said, "Psst! I think that you both like
'scifi'". No, no, actually, what I say in my profile is that
I'm not really into scifi, despite liking Star Trek.
