I had read an article about her in Scientist about the show
and her work and then NEXT month one of my idols, Sean Carroll, was
in Scientist.

So, I'd check out
Carl Sagan's writings, then Phil Plait's, and then go to Caltech
and see Cosmologist Sean Carroll, and every single person with a
PhD in physics and ask them, "are there magic rays from venus that
can make you a little flighty?
