really wanted to be an astronaut. I want everyone to be an
astronaut. Be able to take out a second mortgage and take a two

When you travel from
your house to the grocery store, you're traveling through a

So, by controlling missile technology, we limit business access to
space travel. We rely on a Federal Civilian Space Agency (NASA) to

That inspiration was why Von
Braun did not surrender to the British and why the British became
merely spectators in the great space race. The American triumph was
the culmination of Braun's life-long dream of space-travel.

Many short sighted naysayers claim "man can't
survive in space" and "space travel is impossible beyond X" and
"bla bla bla" but I posit that the only things that are impossible
are the things we haven't made possible yet.

humor and classic space opera adventures balance for the romance. I
particularly recommend "Scout's Progress" which is a regency
romance dressed in space opera clothes.Lois McMaster Bujold: Her
"Miles Voroskaven" series is a well developed space opera setting ... Book" is a cool time travel novel.

Faster than light
travel is still not possible in linear space. Logically, it is
possible to travel faster than light without having to bend time
and space. But in reality it is not. The argument still stands. And
even when we bend the space to reach a destination, we are not

down the zipper, thereby "compensating", as it were, for that type

MACHINE, the mechanism that allows for time travel makes space
travel easy peasy.
