cyberpunk novel and Tower of Glass by Robert Silverberg is great. I
would also highly recommend Orson Scott Card's 'Ender' quadrilogy,
but it depends what your looking for, Card is very anthropological,
Gibson more technophilic, Dick's 'Man in the High Castle' is also
considered definitive but
