read and thoroughly enjoyed The Shack , The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and The Road. Not afraid to admit that The Shack and Kite Runner both brought tears to my eyes more than once. Thousand Splendid did as well a little, but not as much(good book, but a harder read than Kite Runner).

The Kite Runner - The Movie
As you've seen from my profile, you'll see Kite Runner as my
all-time favorite book. I connected with that book on so many
levels. I should read it again. Tonight, I was looking for a movie.
Every damn movie house had the same boring, stupid crap. I saw the
Kite Runner movie, but had mixed feelings.

the first two books were slightly over-rated in all honesty,
