MAC VS PC
I personally hate that Mac is just a cheap, unconfigurable "UNIX"
box with so many proprietary libraries that the UNIX end of an
Apple computer tends to be pretty much useless. FreeBSD and Solaris
are better at being UNIX operating systems than Apple, and are
actually more functional.
Why do Apple products cost so much?
Mac OS X is indeed a UNIX
variant with BSD roots but UNIX is not free and never was. I guess,
you are talking about Linux - a UNIX-like OS which is free.
