Other words that have changed their meaning or become obsolete since Shakespeare's day: accite, bisson, brickle, cypress (gauze), end (gather in harvest), ... Association of ideas plays a great part in transferring names.

Fidele

I am not in the least interested in the ”gossipy” eventual bisexual side of the ”two loves”, which to me seem so much more like description’s of Shakespeare’s own personality and he analyzes the contradiction in his nature in that sonnet as well as here and there in his plays as well.

I love BDSM, but I also have other, intellectual interests, and I'd like it to be were we do our thing, have our scene, and then when it's over, we go out, have coffee, and discuss the finer points of Shakespeare's plays.

Do you believe that some of the history lessons you received in school were based on material that was deliberately misleading?

Comment by JMStarling

Make the kids assume that Shakespeare's histories must be boring because they're "histories."  If they were called the "war plays" (just as accurate) kids would probably be more interested in seeing them.

What's your favorite Shakespeare movie?

Comment by EOSguy

The only thing I *REALLY* liked about about any movie made from a Shakespeare play is Stanly Tucci doing Puck's final monologue from Midsummer Night's Dream (which is also probably my favorite of Shakespeare's plays).

For an entire day, I answered every instant message that I recieved

Comment by Egamst4k

I could elaborate for hours upon hours on end of the ironies and satires nestled with the very breasts of any of Shakespeare's plays, and quote a Midsummer Night's Dream with the understanding that The Bard is metaphysically fooling the entire audience to do his bidding.
