reassuring to know not all animals from pet stores are victims of
animal cruelty. And I definitely think that more people should be
aware of rescue groups/animal shelters.

Bringing animals into your own home
does NOT mean you run a small animal rescue. Basically, almost
everyone runs a small animal rescue then. I own 4 cats, 2
dogs, and 2 guinea pigs--all that were hard-to-place at their
respective shelters/rescues. I don't call my home a small animal
