    of art if rigid boundaries are not imposed. That's exactly what the postmodern turn in the arts taught us, that art need not be about proficiency or skill---art is the act of appreciating and act or an object as a piece of art.  Performance art, for ... interactive part is what makes it art.

    a piece of art that the artist decides to ... you can start to see here how rules and systems can be art.  Of course, there is the potential for art in any set of rules just as there is the potential for art in anything you see.  You don't have to broaden the definition of art to uselessness

    high art and art. ... are Art....not all movies are Art....not all stories are Art.  More importantly...Art is subjective.  High Art is generally agreed upon by many to be Art....therefore less subjective...but still not completely objective or absolute.  As there is no absolutes in Art.

    the art?  Is the painting the art ... be art, it's about whether interaction, a set of rules or a system, can be art.  If a system of interaction can be art, then it must follow that games can be art, right?I once saw a Kiki Smith drawing/collage, St. Genevieve, at the Portland museum of art.
