you really know your art. I thought I could have thrown you for a loop with those art museums, but you persevered.I recommend you go buy some art supplies and paint yourself. Just for laughs. Hell, it'd probably make a fantastic party game when everyone is completely tanked out of their minds.

Depends on the type of museum and my level of interest in a particular subject...Most art museums - I can wander through and be "done" in a matter of hours.Automotive museums... history museums... science museums - those I can stick around for DAYS

Since I personally view the types of art you find in "art museums" as selfish, I don't find it to be contributing. Artists should do what they do because they love it. When you complain about your art not supporting you, you're missing the point.
