Book stores are way better than B&N or Borders, except if

collected editions of serials. For the first time in over a decade,
comic books were finally available in relatively large quantities

Bookstore. That place was really cool, lots of used books, but
sadly not what I needed. I did find a cool artbook about images of
horror for only $10 I wish I could have stayed there longer. The
next place on my list was Royal Oak Books.

com is great and also try your local used book stores. i am
lucky enough to live in portland where there are a plethora of used
book stores. also, ask around campus. quite a few times i've bought
books off of people that took the class previously.

the manager of one of those book stores in the mall if she could

Plus book stores usually have coffee shops and you can grab a latte
as you look at and discuss books. Just make sure you don't spill
your latte on the book or else you're date goes up in price
dramatically! Book stores are also great because you can get a feel
for what your date likes by what book
