books on science and math (not that I'm good at math, I just find
it fascinating) Egyptology , alternate histories, mythology ,
folklore , Ancient History , anything on the history of the
enlightenment period or
Self-analysis, urban ethnography , finding things on the internet.

As we grow older,
more experience has got to make us like the experts in the article,
unwilling to forge ahead with anything new, and like the Douglas's
ethnography, with a more rigid cosmology to assimilate new
experiences.
