watching, discussing, and celebrating my favorite cult television
shows. I attend conventions several times a year to meet actors and
other fans. There is something very special about the mutual love

I also have been in fandom in one way or another for
over half my life. ... My current obsession
is back to my original fandom - Doctor Who and its spin off
Torchwood . But if it's a SF/F fandom, it's likely I at least have
some passing acquaintance with it.

The Furry Fandom. ... Furry Fandom is comparable to pretty much any other fandom out
there....think of Star Wars and anime/video game
conventions....it's pretty much exactly the same sort of thing with
furries....except that we have animals instead of Jedi. *shrugs*

Fandom is a very ... any fandom. The cleanest, most down-to-earth fandoms I've

in fandoms tend to go a lot more overboard than guys that do, and

think we have much to gain by really studying and applying good
science to the furry fandom.
