I recently started fostering cats for the Humane Society so that I could get my kitty fix. I might try fostering a dog next.
I work at the local humane society. ... I also have two cats, one of which was also a foster cat. So far, I've failed at both attempts of fostering animals.*Update* I did succeed in fostering a litter of kittens, and they have all been adopted!
I volunteer for the Humane Society, and I LOVE it. It's the best volunteer job I've ever done, and it gives me an excuse to love on all the doggies and kitties and periodically take some home. I'm currently fostering a dog and 5 kittens, bringing my household animal total up to 9 cats and a dog.
DO SOME VOLUNTEER WORK
I use to volunteer with our local Humane Society, did it for 2.5
years. Fostering cats and kittens (mostly sick ones that no one
else would nurse back to health).
