1 can of garbanzo beans 1 table spoon full Tahini (sesame paste) found in middle eastern stores 2 table spoons olive oil 1 clove of garlic 1 table spoon lemon juice Empty half of the water from the can , keep half of it. Garbanzo beans in water, garlic, tahini and lemon juice all go in the blender

Home-cooked chickpeas are soo much better than canned garbanzo beans. They have a nice flavor, not the canned beans mushy blandness.
