Evolutionism and Creationism

" These statements back up the religions involving spiritual evolution, where some humans are treated as lessers, sub humans, and beneath others. In India they have a lowest sub human class, and an upper higher evolved Brahman class that are said to be evolved up into a god here on earth.

But the defining principle of the human person will probably stay fixed, as did the defining principle of the gene.Should we expect that the whole of humanity will unite into a single human super-being? This does not seem likely, if we judge from the history of evolution.

Should evolution and creationism be taught side-by-side in public schools?

Comment by clitmilflicker

We've only OBSERVED evolution within species. Religious or non-evolutionists call this 'micro-evolution'. No scientist had OBSERVED an ape becoming a human (non-evolutionists call this 'macro-evolution').

I agree with the logic of human evolution but is it really worth spending the time and money to spread speculation as fact when that "factual information" is based on bones of freakish DNA human samples from years before anyone was around to record weather this human was an odd ball or normal.

"Humans have reached the stage of evolution to deal with the stone age" is slightly out of date. recent genetic studies have shown that human evolution has actually increased in rate since the invention of agriculture some 10,000 years ago.
