What literary character would you like to date?

Comment by GoBearstheywin

I think Jane Eyre and I would get along lovely. She's intelligent, determined, blunt, and quite plain. Jane and I could work for the PeaceCorps together.

the elusive late 20's/early 30's woman, where is she?

Comment by hey_DW

^ Jane Austen reflects the history of the time pretty well, was my point. If she doesn't work there is Pamela by Samuel Richardson, Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte, North & South by Elizabeth Gaskell.
