After learning the core basics of punching and kicking
that's when i'd move onto advanced grappling like Jujitsu (any,
brazilian, machado etc.) Judo is also effective but Jujitsu is MUCH
more technical.

I studied Tae Kwon Do, Isshin-ryu Karate, Wing Chun, and Yoshin-ryu
Jujitsu. Looking to get back into Jujitsu but I compressed a
disk in my spine and have been trying to strengthen my back so I
don't spend another few months in physical therapy.
