If you go strictly
by the wording in the song, there are "inappropriate" lyrics in
both musicals. "Chicago" has songs about women murdering their
husbands. How many other Broadway Musicals would have to be banned
from children if something like this was passed into law?

The average
person is used to seeing Musicals...but it truly is a completely
different genre from Opera. And the writers of Repo whole-heartedly
went the operatic route. Musicals tend to be more lively/jumpy.
