As I said, I like roleplaying, but I
haven't often gotten the chance to do tabletop games and I'm
generally not quite as good at them as I am online roleplaying. As
far as tabletop, I have most enjoyed the Star Wars games I've been
involved in. I've being roleplaying online for many years and have

I like to play games . I prefer
playing games with people who are with me, so board games , card

a Wii and love playing on it.)I'm particularly good at Super Smash
Bros. Brawl , though usually I love cooperative games the most.
I also play video games , card games , and games that

community around here is minimal at best.
I could decide, I would never leave the childhood,

form of roleplaying is just for my significant other.

started having kids, roleplaying became a social gathering with

At a certain point, RTS's started to bore me and i went
looking for more adrenaline-pumping games... There started My

Table-top Roleplaying games.

of roleplaying by people in most MMOs.
They are in the minority and often get a lot of flack for trying to
remain in character. In the case of WoW there are dedicated
Roleplay servers that are supposed to enforce RP (but rarely
do). There is also plenty of min/maxing in traditional roleplaying
games

Having just gotten back from the KublaCon gaming convention
(roleplaying games, board games, card games, LARPing), I'd have to
say that it would likely rock my world if a girlfriend of mine
could actually deign to get her geek on and participate.

I played games from his companies.Oh, ditto. I'm claiming he was

and generally all my favs are adventure,
puzzle and strategy games. I totally play DnD. Not
right this very second but I have in the past. 3rd, 3.5 and
4th edition. And non-DnD tabletop roleplaying games like
Exalted. I'm fairly ambivalent with tabletop
roleplaying.

That's where the roleplaying comes in, and LARPers take it another
step or two as far as involvement is concerned. I've played
D&D and other roleplaying games, though I've never
LARPed.

Also, roleplaying has helped me test out
game worlds, plots, and stories I plan to use fr my video games I
make which if testing proves true will most likely prove that
roleplaying is neither a waste of time or foolish.

As for aboves, I think that
roleplaying games are a different animal than looking for the sex.
Games that get too detailed in the description of character anatomy
give me a big rubbery one.

I have this problem with video games having a
'roleplaying' type of game when what they are doing is simulating
roleplaying worlds and classes without involving any actual ROLE
playing. Thus whole generations of people think that they know what
roleplaying is, and think they know how to roleplay,
