Modern vinyl is pressed using the same data as a CD. I can
understand the warm hiss and pop of vintage vinyl records, but new
shit? "Yo, just picked up this new vinyl. They used Pro Tools to
record it, but it's totally got that old school vinyl sound!

POWER, Queen's 70's albums, and Sparks' KIMONO MY HOUSE should

Pretty much anything which was originally released on vinyl will be
better that way, although some of the newer releases which are done
on both CD and vinyl, I've been more of a fan of on vinyl. My
college roommate had an incredible stereo system, and the Shins on
vinyl sounded amazing.
