It's amazing, the random shit we think about when we're

scotch and whiskey in ... their whiskey. Doing this produces a consistent
product over their 1000+ case harvest which is good when you are
moving that much product. Obviously worse things have happened to a

I do like
wine, but there are times when Whiskey is just favorable. I like
that woodsy aroma, and the incredible heat. It's
soothing...relaxing. Wine makes me Giddy. And I also appreciate the
different tastes of Whiskey. For one, I prefer Scotch Whiskey from
lowland Scotland, than Sour Mash Whiskey.

Actually, I like the idea of a blended whiskey sour too...But it
really depends on the whiskey. Irish whiskey makes great whiskey
sours, but bourbon?

a whiskey isn't comprised of
51% or more of any single grain, then it's called straight whiskey
("straight" in this sense is not to be confused with the act of
serving a drink "straight"), or just "whiskey." If you want bourbon
whiskey, you ask for bourbon, irish whiskey, you ask for irish
whiskey

dude says, "Whiskey," and then ... kind of
whiskey does the dude want? Bourbon, Scotch, Irish, what? I
can only assume that before like 1950, only one kind of whiskey was
popularly available, or that the word "whiskey" referred to one
particular kind of what we now know as whiskey.

Whiskey ... which whiskey and
other products were shipped. "Old Bourbon" was stencilled on the
barrels to indicate their port of origin. Old Bourbon whiskey was
different because it was the first corn whiskey most people had
ever tasted. In time, bourbon became the name for any corn-based
whiskey.

I tend to order whiskey or vodka...and men want to know why I drink
whiskey...as if women are not supposed to like whiskey...they try
to push cocktails onto me. Why would I have a silly cocktail with
an orange umbrella if I can get a stiff whiskey instead?
