same boat, and my trainer at the gym (I got 5 free sessions) did give me one tip, which is that if you're going to do weights (either lifting or using the machines) to do it before your ... If you want to trade workout stories and/or keep each other honest, yell and I'll keep in touch.

You should be making a lifestyle change, not going on a diet or a workout "routine." Your eating habits should err to the healthy side of things, and you should exercise consistently, preferably a combination of free weights and cardio.

Running, swimming and spinning 3 times a week alternating with full body workout with free weights will get you there in no time at all.
